Our Philosophy
TAMU MAZA is a fusion of Swahili and Hausa/Yoruba/Arabic origins. 'TAMU' means sweet and nourishing in Swahili, while 'MAZA' symbolizes strength, action, and farming heritage. Our name reflects the unity and diversity of Africa, integrating Swahili, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Zulu, Arabic, Asante, and other major African cultures.
We are a Pan-African agribusiness committed to organic farming, sustainability, and food sovereignty. Our operations span agriculture, aquaculture, horticulture, poultry, fisheries, cattle farming, dairy, and agroforestry.
Sustainability & ESG
TAMU MAZA is 100% organic, we comply with ESG, CSR, GRC, and SDG protocols. Our operations use renewable energy sources like solar and biogas, and we conduct environmental impact assessments across all projects.
